Magic Estimator Tool
Before firing off a print.. it’s nice to now how much plastic it’ll use, and how long it’ll take! The Polar Cloud’s Magic Estimate tool runs in seconds and tells you all you need to know.
Prerequisites:
You’re a Premium Account holder on your own, or you’re in a school with an active School Site License, click here to view our upgraded plans.
Option 1 From the Object Detail Page
After you upload your object, click “Run Estimator” underneath the 3D print button. A popup will tell you more about your object!
Object 2 On the Build Plate
When slicing your object or series of objects.. get an estimate! Click the wand button in the top right of the virtual build plate workplane.
Option 3 In “Manage My Lab”
If your students or customers are submitting “Job Requests” to you, run the estimator by clicking the green Wand tool next to a job request.
Option 4 In the Printer Queue
When your job is in queue to be printed.. click the 3 Dots to launch the Menu Items, then choose “Run Estimator” from atop the list!
