Use the Polar Cloud to show off your best designs, get tips, sell objects, and receive donations!
The Polar Cloud knows the insatiable desire students have to design, improve, and share their 3D prints with others. In response to this enthusiasm and the overall interest in our design contests, we launched the school store and added commerce for all 5,000+ schools on the platform.
By just being a school on the Polar Cloud - your faculty and students can get “tipped” on their designs, sell their objects, and accept donations! The school keeps 100% of the proceeds. You can use this for whatever you like - imagine seeing enough in your account to buy that next 3D Printer you’ve been waiting for!
STORE SETUP:
Information on how and why to set up a school store can be found here. If you’re adding items to your school store for the first time and have questions, please post in one of our Facebook Groups for help.
Students add items to the school store by going to their school “Dashboard”, clicking the “Store” tab, and then adding an object. It is required that they have already uploaded the object (Explore > Objects) and published it as a public object. Objects that are private cannot be listed, because that student is the only one that can view the object.
PRIZES:
Polar3D will make a matching contribution to your School Store equal to the amount you’ve raised via Tips, Sales, and Donations during the Months of February and March up to $250.

In order to be tracked, all donations must be made via the Polar Cloud and reside in the School’s Stripe account until March 31st, when they will be noted and matched.
