Winter Design Challenge

There will be prizes awarded for the Top Three Door Stoppers. Post under #PolarDoorstop on social channels to share your designs.

To be considered for prizes, please submit all designs by the end of November. Objects will be judged Feb 15th.

 

Calling all designers! Create a Door Stop and publish it for our community to use! You get to decide:

What color will your doorstop be?

What shape will your doorstop be?

What method you will use to stop all of the doors!

To Enter:

  • Create a doorstop in Autodesk’s Fusion360 or the design software of your choice

  • Upload and Publish on the Polar Cloud under the “Contest” category

  • Use the description field to tell us about your design process

    • Does your doorstopper fit underneath the door, wedging it in place? Or in the “hinge” or frame of the door?

    • Did you design your doorstopper to be universal, and work with many types and sizes of door? Or only the one to your bedroom, classroom, garage door, etc.

  • Tag your object with the name of your school

  • Make sure you have joined your school! Necessary for eligibility


The 15 submissions with the most likes will be entered into the judging based on the following characteristics:

  • Printability

  • Design Execution

  • Creativity


PRIZES:

  • Grand Prize: Polar Cloud Enabled 3D Printer awarded to your school

  • 2nd Place: $50 donation to your School Store

  • 3rd Place: $25 donation to your School Store
